The Boxwell / Feldman Group is a Seattle-based jazz band co-led by guitarist Owen Boxwell and bassist Ben Feldman, both students at Garfield High School. They are joined by Xander Johns (tenor sax), Willie Bays (alto sax), Isaac Poole (trombone), and Blake Tiemann (drums). The group's style is creative and interactive, influenced by the music of Charles Mingus, Horace Silver, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, as well as contemporary jazz groups.
