After playing a variety of instruments in rock bands throughout the Pacific Northwest, singer/songwriter John Hribernick formed acoustic duo Those Guys with Carl Lovgren in 2006. Singer Kristi Barnes joined in 2011, and the group typically performs as a duo, with John on guitar/vocals joined by Kristi or Carl on vocals/percussion.

Those Guys have performed at a variety of venues in the Seattle area, including music festivals, art walks, bistros, coffee shops and private parties. In addition to John's original songs, they play an eclectic yet familiar mix of popular music from artists such as John Mayer, Incubus, Adele, Warren Zevon, the Beatles, Lyle Lovett, KT Tunstall, Bruce Cockburn, Death Cab for Cutie, Patsy Cline, Jack Johnson and Linda Ronstadt.
