Human Ladder is a Seattle based trio that is as varied as a dusty attic record collections from the late 60’s and 70’s. Displaying a deft hand on both acoustic and electric guitars, the focus of the project is the songs of singer, songwriter and producer Ryan Price. The band is patient, playful and takes a varied approach employing improvisation, while honoring well-crafted arrangements.
The hope of the monthly gig at Stone way Cafe is to collaborate in a laid back environment with many of our talented friends. We will be sharing the first Tuesday of the month with Dollargirl as well as inviting special guests. We hope to sit in on each other’s tunes, collaborate with cover songs and hopefully spread the word about this great venue.
Dollargirl plays acoustic pop with a cinematic sensibility.
Screenwriter Wesley K. Andrews joins forces with pianist and producer Pat McBride to create unique, dynamic songs in the genre vein of Iron & Wine, Gillian Welch, M. Ward and Neutral Milk Hotel.
