Ursa Major began in Bellingham when three friends crammed their instruments and microphones into a tiny living room and started singing together. Today, the group is made up of the three core members, Kristi, Clayton and Ryan, while a number of friends lend their hands and voices throughout. Although most of songs they play are covers of their favorite folk rock songs, a trickle of original material has begun to appear in their sets.
