Song Circle

SONG CIRCLE: An intimate evening with three top Seattle singer-songwriters performing 'in the round.'  Jaspar Lepak, Tiger Zane and David Guilbault will be sharing the stage and trading soulful songs and stories. Come enjoy live, local, original music the way it is meant to be heard, in a welcoming community listening room at The Stone Way Cafe on Friday, March 18th at 7:30 pm.

Jaspar Lepak is a folk/Americana songstress whose remarkable gift for melody is only surpassed by her poetry.  A child of the Sonoran Desert, her songs are deeply influenced by the many places she has called home: Tuscon, Minneapolis, Durban, and currently Seattle.  Sweeping across landscapes with an emotional depth that is extraordinary, her lyrics expose a brave vulnerability, while her clear, pure voice touches the heart.

Demure and velvety, sultry and sensuous, confidence and earthiness - these are words critics use to describe Tiger Zane.  Tiger's music is both powerful and melodic, high energy and heart-felt.  Based in Seattle, singer-songwriter Zane has been compared to Sheryl Crow, Joni Mitchell and The Cowboy Junkies.  Her songs are a soulful hybrid of folk, rock and pop, with occasional winks at country and jazz.  Be sure to visit Tiger's website for her album, "no matter what."

Seattle singer-songwriter David Guilbault writes, records and performs soulful music of life, love and loss - heartfelt songs that live in the truthDavid is in the middle of recording the body of his work, beginning with a series of 10 six-song EP's that are being released digitally on BandCamp.  David invites you to help his music find its way into the world.
