The Jane Addams Middle School Jazz program, only in its second year, has three bands and a jazz combo. This year, the Senior Jazz Ensemble won first place at the Clark College Jazz Festival, was the only middle school band selected for a Saturday Main Stage performance at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, and won more awards than any other middle school at the Next Generation Jazz Festival in Monterey, California.
