Joe Smith is the songwriter, guitarist and vocalist in the Atlanta original rock & roll band Joe Smith & The Going Concern. The group has released five critically acclaimed recordings since 2012 and has been called the “whole essence of rock & roll…genuine and totally devoid of posturing.” He currently is touring in support of the solo acoustic album “Broke, Desperate, Nothin’ to Do” and counts the Ramones, The Replacements, and The Three Mikes: Mike Ness, Mike Cooley, and Mikey Erg among his influences.
