Humble Urchin is a Seattle based music project led by singer-songwriter and musician Michael Hutchins. Drawing from a diverse range of musical styles and influences, Humble Urchin's music spans multiple genres while retaining a common thread of melodic guitar work, strong songwriting, and poetic, emotive lyrics.  Although born and raised in Canada, Michael has spent much of his life living in the United States. His songwriting reflects the many experiences he's had along the way, dealing with themes of loss, hope, relationships, living as a drifter, and more.
