Nice Nate's beatmaking career started in middle school, using two pencils and drumming on his legs to pink floyd's 'the dark side of the moon.' at the tail end of high school, nate found madlib and j dilla and couldn't stop nodding his head. he enjoyed the feeling and wanted to spread that feeling to others. he immediately bought a 'j dilla changed my life' shirt and enrolled in the prodigious 'soundcloud beatmakers institute', graduating top of the class winning the graduation beat battle in a tight match against a 7-year old beatmaker prodigy named tony. somehow he's opened up for sir froderick, guilty simpson, knxwledge, and j dilla's friend house shoes wee!
