CAIXA – Samba & bossa w/ Southern European flair

CAIXA is a samba & bossa nova band that finds inspiration in the great Brazilian masters of the 20th century, especially their less well-known works. Our musical journey, which started in 2015 with a flamenco guitar, African drums and a pandeiro, has taken us to Brazilian folk/jazz via tango, fado, and folk tunes from Southern and Eastern Europe.

CAIXA is formed by Seva Rzhondkovsky (vocals and percussion), Onur Bakiner (guitar), David Geisen (percussion and guitar), Will MacArthur (percussion), and Renata Alves (vocals).
