The Susan Carr Ensemble meshes the percussive rhythms of Brazil and molds it with jazz, blues and rock of contemporary artists such as Sting, D'Angelo, The Beach Boys, Djavan and many others. The ensemble has played many exciting shows in Seattle, from Tula's to Bumbershoot to Live Music on Lopez to The Triple Door to the Anacortes Arts Festival. Susan Carr is also known for vocally training Seattle's most well known artists, such asMacklemore, The Head and the Heart,  Hey Marseilles, Pickwick, Motopony, Minus the Bear, Alice in Chains and new up and coming Earshot Jazz artists: Emi Meyers and Martine Bron.
