Jakob moved to Seattle in January of 2010; where he joined up with Jacob Yackshaw and Peter Reni and formed the Relentless Rhythm Machine. After playing to empty bars across Seattle for a year, the band joined forces with the very talented Tanner and Amy McInerney, and The Weatherside Whiskey Band was born. WWB's boot stomping rhythms, catchy melodies, and strong group of friends and family soon had them packing Seattle's most famous venues. Weatherside has put out two albums of original tunes and a series of music videos in the short time they have been together, with no plan of slowing till they reach the top.
Jakob has been recording bands in makeshift bedroom studios for as long as he has been playing music. A little elbow grease and an unfinished basement in his West Seattle home provided the perfect opportunity to move the gear into a real studio. After a year of construction Ship Wreckords opened its doors in early 2014.
