Joel Ansett with Van Andrew

Joel Ansett grew up in Spokane, WA  but got his songwriting start just outside of Pittsburgh, PA while attending Grove City College. Performing around campus built enough momentum that upon graduating in 2012 with a degree in history, he shifted his focus and began pursuing a career as a songwriter and musician. Songs from his debut full length album, ‘The Nature of Us,’ went on to win national songwriting awards and earned him recognition as a songwriter on the rise. Dubbed by The Huffington Post as “the sonic lovechild of John Legend and The Tallest Man On Earth,” Joel’s songs combine folk and R&B to great effect; and beyond the sonic qualities of the music, Artist Review wrote: “This music is soul therapy. It takes us within and shines our own light back at us.” With a passionate, loyal fanbase in his corner, Joel most recently crowdfunded $33,000 to bring a second full-length album to life. The album will be produced by Jon Joseph and is set to release in the spring of 2019.

Van Andrew is an artist and singer/songwriter currently living in Northwest Washington. With a passion for people and storytelling, his music is a marriage of simple guitar riffs, indie rock, and word pictures sung from the heart.
