MacLeighin Rettig with Sophie Reynolds

MacLeighin is a 16 year old local Seattle based artist and musician. She wrote her first song at 11 and has since studied at School of Rock Greenwood with some of Seattle’s most elite players. Her solo project and bands have taken her to the stages of The Hard Rock Cafe, Chop Suey and The Crocodile. Most recently, she spent the summer busking at Greenlake, Pike Place, and Ballard Market honing her skills as a solo artist and writing songs for her upcoming EP that will be released next year. She had the pleasure of being on the Fresh Paint Festival line up in August and has since been played on KEXP and Ballard Radio. This Northwest High School junior writes songs beyond her years inspired my the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Mazzy Star and Heart. She is a timeless talent of which we surely have not seen the last. 

Sophie Reynolds is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter from Los Angeles. She has been performing since she was ten years old and taught herself to play the guitar at age 14. Sophie began writing and performing original music this year. She draws inspiration from a long-time love of acoustic ballads. Her first single “Southern California” was released at the end of the summer of 2018. She recently moved to Seattle to begin studying at the University of Washington.
