Benefit For Tiny House Warriors

The Secwepemc people of BC are building ten tiny houses to block the climate destroying Trans Mountain pipeline and establish territorial jurisdiction. The solarized homes will house families, re-establish village sites, and be centers for Indigenous art.

Oil giant Kinder Morgan is building a tar sands pipeline from Alberta to the Vancouver Canada area for oil tankers to cross the Salish Sea to Asia. Pollution from oil spills threaten drinking water and endanger orca whales and salmon.

Music performances by Alex Zarecki, Kaeley Pruitt-Hamm, Margaux LeSourd and RHS Jazz Vocals.
-Alex Zarecki is an existential songwriter who sings about things like empire, the internet, and the divine. Joining Alex is talented pianist and human Tory White.
-Kaeley Pruitt-Hamm is a singer who writes songs in hope of helping heal the harms of humans on this planet with harmony.
-Margaux LeSourd's jazz influenced harmonies are between indie-rock and folk-soul, with a sense of urgency and responsibility to combat climate crisis and environmental injustice.
-Roosevelt Vocal Jazz, under the direction of Dr. Jean-Marie Kent, is a dynamic group of 16 singers and a dedicated rhythm section. They have performed in festivals in Monterey, Dallas and Reno. They can often be heard in jam sessions at the Stone Way Cafe!

10% of the Café’s proceeds will go to the Tiny House Warriors. No cover but we suggest a $20/person donation.
