Katie Webster is a saxophonist from Seattle, WA. Studying saxophone performance at the esteemed Berklee on full scholarship, she receives mentorship from 3 time Grammy Award winning drummer Terri Lyne Carrington, and Grammy nominated saxophonist Tia Fuller. Katie has performed as a guest soloist with Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, and performed at the world famous Monterey Jazz Festival. Most recently, she has returned from Bern International Jazz Festival in Switzerland, playing in a quartet recruited by Terri Lyne Carrington. She has won awards from Wynton Marsalis at Lincoln Center. The Katie Webster Quintet will also include Bell Thompson (trumpet), Jacob Linden (piano), Henry Mohr (drums), and Max Young (bass).
