The Brooders are Jay Waltmunson and Matt Galloway. Transplants from Oklahoma and around the world, they are a charismatic duo with original songs that blend humor, acoustic guitar, drums, trucker hats, and warm vocals.

Their catchy and melodic tunes combine an Alt-Americana sound with storytelling, resulting in songs that make audiences want to listen. (Think Violent Femmes with Arlo Guthrie - plus Toby Keith and Annie DeFranco, dating, and in the band.)
