Kaeley Pruitt-Hamm was living the dream in the belly of the beast - Washington, D.C. - when she and Conor Whelan joined forces in music last year. Kaeley's dream has been to mix social justice activism and music in order to contribute to the struggle towards climate justice, racial justice, and a world free of war. When Kaeley was diagnosed with a late-stage illness in June 2015 and had to move back to Seattle for treatment, Conor and Kaeley's music projects turned to "remote collaboration mode" and they continued to work together through email attachments sent across the country. Calling themselves "The Attachments," the two will be back together in person for a brief blip in December and wanted to share some acoustic indie cozy time with anyone who stops by the cafe.
