"The Workshop", with Dave Erickson on saxophone, Trevor Pelletier on bass, Will Lone on drums, and Charlotte Dike at the piano, takes its name Ev Stern's Jazz Workshop, where this young and dynamic quartet coalesced in Seattle.  Each player brings a widely different background to the group's sound, from Dave's secret talent on vocals, to Trevor's lifelong passion for Mingus, to Charlotte's classical background and Will's studies of Indian percussion.  The blend of these players provides up a fresh and eclectic take on the jazz tradition.
